IELTS - International English Language Testing System
- IELTS is basically a test designed to assess your English language ability.
The test comprises of four sections: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The score is out of 9 and students are expected to score a minimum of 6.5 overall and at least a 6 in all the sections. - The duration of the test is around 3 hours and is conducted by the British Council (https://ielts.britishcouncil.org/Default.aspx) and Planetedu (IDP) (https://www.ieltsidpindia.com/home.aspx) in India. The test is administered on 48 fixed dates in a year. The test fee is Rs.11,300/-. The score is valid for two years.
